Tour Overview
The Soleil Nile cruise is described as the newest ship on the river, built around contemporary design rather than the period styling of older vessels. It sails between Luxor and Aswan, departing Mondays and Fridays, with a 3-night option from Aswan and a 4-night option from Luxor, and our fare includes full board, private guided tours and entrance fees.
Fresh build, modern rooms
A newer vessel tends to mean fresher interiors and modern fittings throughout. The Soleil’s appeal is a clean, current look combined with careful hospitality, which suits travelers who find heavily themed ships a little dated. It is a good fit for couples and design-minded guests who still want the classic Nile route. Because the ship is new, its program and fares are still being added to our listings, so we handle each enquiry individually and confirm the sailing, cabin and fare for your dates.
The best months for the river are October to April, when days are warm rather than hot and the early temple visits are pleasant. Our guide to the best time for a Nile cruise goes into the trade-offs of each season.
Your options
| Sailing | Boards in | Departure |
|---|---|---|
| 3 nights / 4 days | Aswan | Monday or Friday, confirmed at booking |
| 4 nights / 5 days | Luxor | Monday or Friday, confirmed at booking |
The longer sailing from Luxor gives an extra day on the water; the shorter one from Aswan fits tighter schedules and finishes in Luxor, which has good flight connections.
