How the day works

A private transfer takes you from your hotel or Nile cruise to Aswan airport for the flight south. At Abu Simbel your private Egyptologist meets you and leads the visit to the Great Temple, with its four colossal seated statues of Ramses II, and the neighboring temple dedicated to Hathor and Queen Nefertari. Your guide also explains the 1960s UNESCO project that moved both temples above the rising waters of Lake Nasser. After the visit you fly back to Aswan and are met for the transfer to your hotel or ship.
