Is this the right ship for you?
Ask us for the current ship profile, cabin types and rates for your dates, and we will set the Nile Adventurer side by side with two or three comparable boats from our luxury Nile cruise range. That is the quickest way to see whether it suits your budget, your preferred cabin and your sailing dates.
Short or long sailing
Three nights is enough to see the major temples and fits a one-week Egypt trip with Cairo. Four nights adds a full extra day on the water and a gentler pace, which many travelers prefer in the warmer months. Our guide to the best time for a Nile cruise covers temperatures and crowds by season.
The Monday and Friday departures are the most common pattern on this stretch of river, which makes it simple to fit domestic flights from Cairo on either side of the sailing.
Sites along the way
The Luxor and Aswan stretch is the heart of ancient Upper Egypt. Temples here were built over some two thousand years, from the New Kingdom to the Ptolemies. Typical visits include Karnak and Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, the temple at Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan’s monuments. The day-by-day plan for your sailing is confirmed at booking.
