Most guests on the Farah stay in one of the 60 deluxe cabins, which share the same finishes. The two Royal Suites are the ship’s top tier, and with only two of them it pays to ask early. If you are celebrating an anniversary or a honeymoon, ask about them as early as possible.

The Farah’s character comes from materials rather than gadgets: natural wood, quality cotton and a calm, homely style. It suits travelers who want a comfortable base between temple visits and a good night’s sleep before early starts. With 62 rooms in total, it is large enough to have a full set of public areas but still feels personal on deck and in the dining room.

On arrival, you will be met and escorted to your Nile cruise for embarkation.
Begin your Aswan sightseeing with a visit to the impressive High Dam, a landmark of modern Egyptian engineering. Continue by boat to Agilkia Island to explore the exquisite Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and renowned for its beautifully preserved sanctuaries and reliefs.
Return to your Nile cruise, where lunch is served on board, followed in the evening by an international buffet dinner.
