Why the route is arranged this way
Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum share a day because the museum stands close to the plateau, so little time is lost in traffic. In Luxor the morning goes to the West Bank, when the tombs of the Valley of the Kings and the terraces of Hatshepsut’s temple are cooler, and the afternoon to Karnak. Luxor Temple is not part of the program, so ask if you would like it added.
