Tour Itinerary
Meet at Cairo airport upon arrival by a Delta Tours Egypt representative who will assist you through airport customs and formalities. You will be escorted immediately to your hotel by an air-conditioned modern fleet. Meet with your tour guide and tour manager to review your holiday itinerary and confirm pick-up times for each tour.

After breakfast, enjoy a privately guided introduction to the wonders of ancient Cairo with your expert Egyptologist. Visit the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos—the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World and a remarkable testament to ancient engineering. Stand before the enigmatic Great Sphinx, its lion’s body and royal visage guarding the necropolis for millennia.
Continue to Saqqara, Egypt’s oldest royal burial ground and a vast archaeological landscape of pyramids and tombs. Here, discover the Step Pyramid of Djoser, widely regarded as the first monumental stone structure ever built and a milestone in the history of architecture.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, you will be met and escorted to your Nile cruise for embarkation.
Later, enjoy a guided visit to Luxor’s East Bank, exploring the magnificent Temple of Karnak, a vast complex built over centuries by generations of pharaohs. Continue to the elegant Luxor Temple, once connected to Karnak by a ceremonial avenue of ram-headed sphinxes—monuments that define Luxor’s reputation as the world’s greatest open-air museum.
Return to your Nile cruise for lunch on board. The afternoon is at leisure, offering time to relax on the cruise or explore the charming streets and markets of Luxor.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided visit to Luxor’s West Bank. Explore the renowned Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of Egypt’s New Kingdom pharaohs. Continue to the remarkable Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, beautifully set against the cliffs of the Theban mountains, and pause at the monumental Colossi of Memnon, which have stood guard over the plain for more than three millennia.
Return to your Nile cruise for lunch on board. In the afternoon, relax with tea on deck as the cruise sails toward Edfu, passing through the Esna Lock.

After breakfast, travel by horse-drawn carriage to visit the remarkable Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus and considered one of the best-preserved temples of the ancient world.
Return to your Nile cruise for lunch on board as the journey continues toward Kom Ombo. Visit the distinctive Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely dedicated to two deities—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder.
Later, relax with afternoon tea on deck as the cruise sails toward Aswan.

Early in the morning, a breakfast box will be prepared for you before departing for Abu Simbel. Travel in comfort by private air-conditioned vehicle to the spectacular temples carved into the cliffs of Lake Nasser.
Explore the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel, masterpieces of ancient Egyptian architecture built by Ramses II. The Great Temple, dedicated to the king himself, is often known as the Sun Temple, while the nearby Temple of Queen Nefertari, devoted to the goddess Hathor, stands as one of the most graceful monuments of the New Kingdom.
Return to Aswan and rejoin your Nile cruise for lunch on board. The afternoon is at leisure, offering time to relax on the cruise or explore the charming city of Aswan.
In the evening, enjoy a relaxed Galabia gathering accompanied by an oriental dinner on board.
For greater comfort, travel to Abu Simbel can also be upgraded to a short domestic flight.
