A felucca ride in Cairo is a two-hour sail on the Nile aboard a traditional wooden boat, a calm break from the city’s traffic with views of the skyline from the water. Private rates are $45 per person for three travelers, $50 for two and $80 for one, with hotel transfers included.

A daytime sail is about breeze, sunshine and seeing the riverbanks clearly. An evening sail is quieter and more atmospheric as the city lights come on along the water. A late-afternoon start gives you both: daylight at the start and lights as you return. Tell us which you want when you book. Feluccas move with the wind, so on still days the boat drifts more than it sails; that slow pace is part of the appeal.
