Tour Overview

The Mövenpick MS Hamees Nile cruise is one of the larger ships in our luxury range, with a pool, a sun deck and several lounges, and it offers triple, double and single cabins. It sails between Luxor and Aswan on 3-night and 4-night programs departing Mondays and Fridays, with full board, private guided sightseeing and entrance fees included.

Bigger ship, more space to roam

Larger vessels on the Nile trade intimacy for facilities. On the Hamees that means a generous sun deck, a pool, and quiet lounges where you can read or play cards in the evening. Families and groups of friends often prefer this kind of ship, because there is room for everyone to find their own corner.

Fares, September to April (per person)

Cabin 3 nights / 4 days 4 nights / 5 days
Triple $1,601 $1,900
Double $1,676 $1,986
Single $2,549 $3,060

Choosing your cabin

Three people sharing save $75 each on the shorter sailing and $86 on the longer one compared with a double. A double is the natural choice for couples. Single travelers pay a supplement, so the 3-night sailing keeps that cost down.

Sharing a double, the fourth night costs $310 per person, so the 4-night sailing makes most sense if you want an easier pace, more hours at the pool and fewer early starts. The 3-night option suits a busy week that also includes Cairo or the coast.

The route

Upper Egypt’s main temples come one after another: Luxor’s East and West Banks, Edfu, Kom Ombo, then Philae and the other Aswan sights. Your private English-speaking guide handles each visit, and we confirm the sightseeing for your departure at booking.

Fare details

Included: airport meet and greet, private air-conditioned transfers, full board, private tours in Luxor and Aswan, entrance fees to itinerary sites, service charges and taxes. Excluded: international flights, Egypt visa, optional tours, extras and tips.
