Tour Overview
The Oberoi Philae Nile cruise is the choice for travelers who want a wellness-focused stay between Luxor and Aswan, with a pool, a gym and private therapy rooms on board. We sell it on two lengths, a 4-night sailing and a 6-night sailing from Luxor, both full board with private guided sightseeing and entrance fees to the sites on the program.
Two lengths, two paces
Most ships on this stretch of river run 3 or 4 nights. The Philae adds a 6-night option from Luxor, which is the real reason to pick it. Those two extra nights turn the cruise from a fast circuit of temples into a slower week on the water, with more time for the spa, the deck and long lunches between visits. If your Egypt trip is short, the 4-night sailing still covers the core of the river at a comfortable rhythm.
| Sailing (October to April) | Double cabin, per person | Single cabin, per person |
|---|---|---|
| 4 nights / 5 days | $2,992 | $4,480 |
| 6 nights / 7 days from Luxor | $4,495 | $6,730 |
Who it suits
- Couples and solo travelers who rank calm and service above a busy entertainment program.
- Guests who want to keep up a fitness or treatment routine while traveling.
- First-time visitors who would rather see Karnak, Edfu and Aswan without rushing.
Cabins and suites
The ship offers both cabins and suites, all described as spacious. Fares in our table are for a double or single cabin; ask us for suite rates if you want more room, and tell us early, because a smaller luxury boat has fewer suites to go around.
What the fare covers
Airport meet and greet, private air-conditioned transfers, full-board accommodation, private tours in Luxor and Aswan with an English-speaking guide, entrance fees to the sites on the itinerary, and service charges and taxes. International flights, the Egypt visa, optional tours and tips are not included.
Extending the trip
Departures are on selected dates, so we confirm sailing days against your travel window. Many guests add two or three nights in Cairo for Giza and the museum, or a morning flight to Abu Simbel from Aswan. Compare the Philae with other ships on our luxury Nile cruise page, browse every option under Nile river cruises, or read our Luxor to Aswan cruise guide before you decide.
Want the cruise wrapped into a longer itinerary with hotels and flights? Our tailor-made tours team can build it around your dates.
