Tour Overview
The Moon Dance Nile cruise is a classic five-star ship for travelers who like traditional river cruising: elegant interiors, warm hospitality and a wide choice of cabins and suites. It sails between Luxor and Aswan every Monday and Friday, on 3-night or 4-night programs with full board and private guided tours.
Classic river cruising, done well
Some newer ships chase a boutique-hotel look. Moon Dance keeps to the older style of Nile travel, with formal-feeling lounges, gracious service and an easy routine of sightseeing in the morning and sailing in the afternoon. Travelers who grew up imagining a Nile voyage in the manner of the old steamer era will feel at home here, minus the inconvenience.
Cabin or suite
The ship has a generous selection of cabins and suites. A standard cabin is all most people need, since days are spent ashore or on deck. A suite is worth considering for honeymoons, longer sailings or anyone who wants a proper sitting area. The published fares below are per cabin type (triple, double, single); ask us for suite rates for your dates.
Three nights or four
For September to April:
- 3 nights / 4 days: $790 per person in a triple, $860 double, $1,297 single
- 4 nights / 5 days: $934 per person in a triple, $1,012 double, $1,552 single
The 4-night version adds a day of sailing and, on most ships of this type, begins in Luxor. The 3-night version suits travelers fitting the river around Cairo and the coast.
