Hurghada Quad Bike Safari to a Bedouin Village for Tea
- 4.9 on Tripadvisor · 88 reviews
- Licence No. 121
Tour Overview
Three hours is enough for a solid taste of the desert on this short quad safari from Hurghada. You ride about 25 km across open sand to a Bedouin village, stop for tea, and ride back. It fits easily into a beach holiday without taking up the whole day.
The trip starts with hotel pickup by air-conditioned coach. At the quad station each rider gets their own quad and takes a test drive before the group sets off with a desert safari guide.
At the Bedouin village you are served Bedouin tea and get a short look at how desert families live. Then you climb back on the quad for the return ride, and the coach takes you back to your hotel.
Who it suits
This safari is a good choice for first-time riders and for anyone who wants a shorter, lower-cost outing. There is no dinner or show, which keeps the schedule simple. With the whole outing over in about three hours, you still have most of the day free for the beach or pool. Since every rider has a separate quad, friends and couples can ride side by side behind the guide.
Practical notes: The tour runs every day, and bottled water is provided. Wear closed shoes, sunglasses and a scarf or bandana against the dust, and use plenty of sunscreen. Please mention any health conditions, back problems or pregnancy when booking, as quad riding can be bumpy. Tips are not included. Prices start from $30 per person.
