Giza Pyramids Photo Session Tour with Egyptologist Guide
- 4.9 on Tripadvisor · 88 reviews
- Licence No. 121
Tour Overview
The Pyramids of Giza are among the most photographed places on earth, yet few visitors leave with a picture they truly love. This private tour pairs a professional photographer with an Egyptologist guide, so you come home with strong images and a clear sense of what you saw. Many guests book it for engagements, anniversaries or family portraits. It also suits solo travelers who want good photos of themselves.
Your visit covers the three main pyramids, the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. The Valley Temple, built of huge granite blocks, stands beside the Sphinx and was part of the funerary complex of King Khafre. Your guide explains each site as you go, then leads you to the viewpoints on the plateau where all three pyramids line up for the classic shot.
The photographer shoots throughout the visit with a professional camera. Afterward you receive at least 100 edited digital photos on a flash drive. You also get a printed album holding 20 of the best images. If you want a second album and flash drive, they cost $50 extra.
What is covered
A private air-conditioned vehicle picks you up from your hotel and returns you afterward. Entrance fees for the listed sites are included, as is bottled water in the vehicle. Any permit a site requires for a photo session is not included, and neither are tips. The tour runs every day. Comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen help on the open plateau. Group size sets the rate, with the lowest per-person price for six travelers. Prices start from $176 per person.
