Tour Overview
This 5-day Dahab tour gives you four nights on the Gulf of Aqaba side of South Sinai. You snorkel at the Blue Lagoon and the Blue Hole, spend a day at Wadi Al-Weshwashy and Pharaoh’s Island, and finish with a desert evening of quad biking, a camel ride and a Bedouin dinner. The trip starts at Sharm El Sheikh airport, ends at Taba port, and costs from $815 per person.
What you will see and do
Dahab is a relaxed seaside town that divers and snorkelers have loved for decades. Its best-known site is the Blue Hole, a deep sinkhole in the reef just north of town. Snorkelers stay near the surface along the reef wall, where coral and reef fish are easy to see in clear water. The same day also takes you to the Blue Lagoon, so you get two very different kinds of water in one outing.
Day three moves inland and north. Wadi Al-Weshwashy is a canyon known for its natural rock pools. Pharaoh’s Island is a small island in the Gulf of Aqaba near Taba, crowned by an old fortress linked to Saladin. On day four you swap the sea for the sand: a quad bike ride, a camel ride and dinner in Bedouin style.
How the days work
Our representative meets you at Sharm El Sheikh airport on day one and drives you to your hotel in Dahab, and the rest of that day is yours. Days two, three and four each have one guided outing. On day five we drive you to Taba port, not back to Sharm, so plan your onward travel from Taba. Read our Red Sea Egypt travel guide if you are still choosing where to spend time on the coast.
Who this trip suits
It suits travelers who want an active beach break with a guide, rather than a week at one resort pool. You should be at ease in the water for the snorkeling days. If you want to combine Sinai with the Nile or Cairo, see our Egypt and Red Sea tours or browse all Sinai tours.

Tour Itinerary
Our representative waits for you at Sharm El Sheikh airport and helps you to a private air-conditioned vehicle. You then drive north along the coast to your hotel in Dahab, where you check in for four nights.
Nothing else is planned for the day. You can rest after your flight, walk along the seafront or find a place to eat in town. Our guest relations team is available if you need help settling in.
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide takes you out for a snorkeling outing. The first stop is the Blue Lagoon, with its calm, clear water.
You also visit the Blue Hole, the most famous site on the Dahab coast. It is a deep sinkhole in the reef, but snorkelers stay at the surface along the reef edge, where coral and reef fish are close and easy to watch. Your guide will help you choose where to enter the water. You return to the hotel afterwards.
Today trades the reef for mountains and history. After breakfast you travel with your guide to Wadi Al-Weshwashy, a canyon known for the natural rock pools that collect between its walls.
The second part of the day is Pharaoh’s Island, a small island in the Gulf of Aqaba near Taba. An old fortress linked to Saladin stands on top of it, looking over the water. In the evening you are back at your hotel in Dahab.
The morning is free for the beach, a swim or a quiet walk through Dahab. Later you head into the desert for an outing of a different kind.
First you ride a quad bike across the sand, then switch to a camel for a slower ride. The evening ends with a Bedouin dinner, which is included. Bring a warm layer, since desert evenings can feel cool. You return to your hotel for your last night in Dahab.
Have breakfast and check out of your hotel. A private air-conditioned vehicle then takes you north to Taba port, where the tour ends.
Note that the trip does not return to Sharm El Sheikh. Please arrange your onward travel from Taba before you book, and tell us your plans so we can time the transfer. Tips for your guide and driver are not included and are at your discretion.
