Arriving in Sharm El Sheikh by cruise ship? This shore excursion takes you straight from the marina to the reefs of Ras Mohammed National Park for a day in the water.

Ras Mohammed lies at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba. It became Egypt’s first national park in 1983 and is known for its coral reefs and colorful fish. Many divers and snorkelers count it among the finest reef areas in the world.

Your day at sea

We meet you at Sharm El Sheikh marina when your ship docks. From there you join a boat bound for the park. During the day you stop at several reef sites to snorkel and swim. A buffet lunch is served on board. Snorkeling equipment and park entrance fees are included, and an English-speaking guide stays with you.

The trip suits cruise passengers who want to spend their port day in the Red Sea rather than on land. Basic swimming skills make the day more enjoyable. Please tell us about any health conditions and your swimming ability when you book.

Getting back to your ship

The excursion is planned around your port call, and we return you to your ship at the end of the day. Share your ship’s arrival and departure times when booking so we can plan the day around them.

The trip runs every day. Bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. Taxes and service charges are covered, while extras and tips are not. Prices start from $67 per person.

Tour Itinerary

Your guide meets you at Sharm El Sheikh marina as soon as your ship arrives. You then board the boat that takes you to Ras Mohammed National Park.

The boat stops at several reef sites inside the park. At each stop you can snorkel over the coral or simply swim in the clear water. Snorkeling gear is provided.

A buffet lunch is served on board between swims. At the end of the excursion you are brought back to the marina and return to your ship.
