The day heads to one of three well-known areas off Hurghada: Giftun Island, Mahmya, or the Dolphin area. Giftun lies inside a protected marine park, and its shallow coral gardens draw reef fish in large numbers. Your instructor helps you settle on the spot that suits your group when you book.

Families with children, first-time snorkelers and nervous swimmers tend to gain the most from a private format. Experienced snorkelers also like it, because they can spend longer on the sections of reef they enjoy. Couples looking for a quieter day on the water are another good fit.
Delta Tours Egypt is licensed by Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism (licence No. 121). On this tour, you are collected from your hotel in the Hurghada area and driven in a private vehicle. Snorkeling equipment, an open buffet lunch on board, mineral water and soft drinks are all covered, as are taxes and service charges. Tips and any extras outside the program are not included.
Please mention any health conditions, recent surgery or swimming concerns when you book, so the instructor can plan the day safely. Bring sunscreen that is gentle on the reef, a towel and a change of clothes. The private snorkeling trip costs from $50 per person, and the final rate depends on your travel dates and group size.
Children pay according to the Delta Tours child policy shown below: ages 6 to 11 pay 50% of the adult price for the same group size and season.

Tour Itinerary
Your driver meets you at your Hurghada-area hotel and takes you by private vehicle to the jetty, where your boat is waiting. The day is spent at one of three areas: Giftun Island, Mahmya, or the Dolphin area.
Your instructor fits your gear, gives a short briefing, then leads you to several reef spots in turn. These sites are rich in coral and colorful fish, and dolphins are sometimes seen nearby. As they are wild animals, a sighting cannot be promised.
Between swims there is time to relax on the island and try water sports around Giftun and its national park. An open buffet lunch is served on board, with mineral water and soft drinks.
Once the boat is back at the jetty, your private vehicle drives you to your hotel.
