This trip offers two ways to see the reefs off Hurghada in one outing. First you watch from a dry cabin below the waterline. Then you get into the sea for a short snorkel.

The semi-submarine’s lower cabin has underwater windows that bring you close to the coral and fish. You spend about an hour there, watching the reef pass by. The Red Sea is home to a wide range of hard and soft corals, so the view changes as the boat moves. Parrotfish, butterflyfish and wrasse are common around Hurghada’s reefs. With transfers included, it is a low-cost way to see the Red Sea from below, and it fits easily into a beach holiday in Hurghada for travelers of almost any age.

After the viewing, there are about 30 minutes for snorkeling. It is an easy introduction for people who have not snorkeled before. Anyone who prefers to stay dry can sit it out. The mix makes the trip a good pick for families and groups with different comfort levels in the water.

We pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada and drive you to the boat in an air-conditioned vehicle.

On board, you move down to the underwater cabin. For about an hour you watch the reef through its windows, with coral and fish close to the glass.

Next comes a snorkeling stop of about 30 minutes. Afterward, we take you back to your hotel.
