Itinerary

Over day Alexandria

Our representative will pick you up from your Cairo hotel early in the morning and you will be accompanied by your friendly expert Egyptologist guide by a private air-conditioned van toward Alexandria. Tour to visit the city’s site, visit Pompey’s Pillar. It was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapes, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarean. Then drive to visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Lunch at a local restaurant in Alexandria, then we proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the site of the ancient pharaohs (lighthouse) of Alexandria. Finally, you will drive back to your hotel in Cairo.

A full payment will be required when confirming your booking as requested.

After your tour is confirmed we will email final confirmation and voucher to print and bring with you. Details will include contact numbers of your tour operator and customer care and additional information for your convenience.

Cancellation Policy
Delta Egypt Tours does not charge a cancellation fee for tours and excursions canceled for ‘force majeure reasons such as volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons beyond control. If cancellation happens due to personal or business reasons and Delta Egypt Tours has already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.
